Hurricane Isaias Dock, Seawall & Boat Lift Repair
Crews mobilizing to the Panhandle. Assessment requests open now.
Hurricane Isaias made landfall near Destin on the evening of October 9, 2026, as a Category 2 hurricane with 105 mph winds, according to the National Hurricane Center. Storm surge and hurricane-force gusts hit waterfront property along the Panhandle coast.
Crocker Marine Services is mobilizing crews to the Florida Panhandle and taking damage assessment requests now. We schedule assessments by urgency: safety hazards and failed boat lifts come first. We are serving waterfront owners in Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa, Walton and Bay counties.
Every assessment ends with a written condition report with photos and, where repair is needed, a True Price Guarantee quote. You can share the report with your insurance adjuster.

Tell us what happened. We'll schedule by urgency.
Fill out the form to request your damage assessment.
We review every request and schedule by urgency, with safety hazards and failed boat lifts first. The more you tell us about the damage, the better we can prioritize and prepare before we arrive.
Safety hazard? If your dock or seawall has collapsed or is unsafe, call (239) 841-9674.
What to Do Right Now
- Stay off docks and seawall caps that have shifted or cracked. Keep people, pets and vehicles off until they have been assessed.
- Don't run a damaged boat lift. Bent beams, damaged cables or a motor that sat in surge water can fail under load.
- Watch for downed power lines and dock electrical. Shut off power to the dock and lift if it is safe to do so, and stay out of the water around them.
- Photograph everything before cleanup. Keep damaged materials until your adjuster has seen them, and keep receipts for any emergency repairs.
- Keep debris away from the seawall, other structures and downed power lines.
- Report the damage to your insurer. Florida's Insurance Helpline: 1-877-693-5236.

What We Repair
Storm Damage Services
Hurricane damage to waterfront structures is often worse below the waterline than above it. Here is what we look for, document and repair after Isaias. If a structure is beyond repair, we also handle dock replacement and seawall replacement.
How Our Storm Response Works
1. Submit Your Request
Use the form or call (239) 841-9674. Tell us what was damaged and how urgent it is.
2. Triage by Urgency
We review every request and schedule by urgency. Safety hazards and failed boat lifts come first, then damaged-but-stable structures, then inspection and documentation requests.
3. On-Site Assessment
Our team inspects your dock, seawall or boat lift in person: pilings, framing and connections; seawall panels, cap, tie-backs and the soil behind the wall; lift structure, cables, motor and electrical.
4. Written Condition Report with Photos
You receive a written, photo-documented report of what we found. Share it with your insurance adjuster and use it to plan repairs.
5. True Price Guarantee Quote
If repair or replacement is needed, you get a detailed quote. The price we quote is the price you pay: no change orders, excluding rock excavation, client-requested changes or specialty permitting.
6. Repair
Once you approve the quote and any required permits are in place, our crew completes the work.

Hurricane Isaias Repair FAQ
Do I need a permit for storm repairs?
Often, yes, though the state has eased some requirements. The Florida Department of Environmental Protection's emergency final order for Hurricane Isaias (OGC No. 26-2105) covers Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa, Walton and Bay counties. It lets owners repair docks and seawalls that were not completely destroyed back to their pre-storm size and location without notifying the state, and seawalls may be restored up to 18 inches waterward. Structures that were completely destroyed need an emergency authorization. The order does not replace U.S. Army Corps of Engineers or local permits, so a county or city permit may still be required. We confirm what your project needs before work starts.
Will insurance cover my dock or seawall?
It depends on your policy. Coverage for docks, seawalls and boat lifts varies widely, and damage from storm surge is generally handled under flood coverage rather than a standard homeowners policy. Hurricane deductibles are typically 2% to 5% of the insured value. Check with your insurer or agent; the Florida Department of Financial Services Insurance Helpline (1-877-693-5236) can also help.
Can you document damage for my adjuster?
Yes. Our assessment includes a written condition report with photos and a repair estimate you can share with your adjuster. We don't file or negotiate insurance claims; that stays between you and your insurer.
Is my seawall safe to stand near?
If the cap is cracked or tilted, the wall is leaning, or the ground behind it has sunk or opened up, stay back and keep people, pets and vehicles off that area until it has been assessed. Soil loss behind a wall is not always visible from the surface. If it looks unsafe, choose "Safety hazard" when you request an assessment, or call (239) 841-9674.
My boat is stuck on the lift. What should I do?
Don't run a damaged lift to lower the boat. A bent beam, damaged cable or water-damaged motor can fail under load. Shut off power to the lift if you can do it safely, stay out of the water around it, and request an assessment with "Boat stuck on lift or lift failed" selected so we can prioritize it.
Should I repair or replace my dock or seawall?
It depends on how much of the structure is still sound. Repairing a structure that was not completely destroyed back to its pre-storm footprint is generally simpler to permit than building new. After the assessment we tell you which makes sense and why, and if replacement is the better value, we quote it.
How quickly can you get here?
We can't promise a fixed arrival time. We are scheduling assessments by urgency, with safety hazards and failed boat lifts first. Submit a request and we will contact you to schedule. If you have a safety hazard, call (239) 841-9674.
